There is provided inter alia a method of covalently attaching an amine derivatizing agent to a glutamine of a first polypeptide. The method includes adding an amine derivatizing agent, a transglutaminase a first polypeptide which includes a glutamine, and a co-solvent to a reaction mixture. The method further includes allowing the amine derivatizing agent to react with the glutamine of the first polypeptide in the reaction mixture to form an amide bond, thereby covalently attaching the amine derivatizing agent to the glutamine of the first polypeptide.La présente invention concerne entre autres un procédé de liaison covalente dun agent de formation de dérivés damines avec une glutamine dun premier polypeptide. Le procédé comprend lajout dun agent de formation de dérivés damines, une transglutaminase, un premier polypeptide qui comprend une glutamine et un co-solvant à un mélange réactionnel. Le procédé comprend également la mise en réaction de lagent de formation de dérivés damines avec la glutamine du premier polypeptide dans le mélange réactionnel pour former une liaison amide, permettant ainsi la liaison covalente de lagent de formation de dérivés damines avec la glutamine du premier polypeptide.
