PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is equipped with an examination member for examining a wearer's health condition and with which it is easy for the wearer to grasp the precise health condition.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes: an absorbent core 20 including an absorbent material； a back sheet 40 arranged nearer to a non-skin surface side than the absorbent core 20； and an examination member 60 for examining a wearer's health condition. The examination member 60 is arranged nearer on a skin surface side T1 than the back sheet 40 in the thickness direction T. The examination member has a display part including an indicator that changes color on the basis of an object to be examined contained in excreta. The display part 60 is visibly recognizable from the back sheet 40 side.
