A method of manufacturing a disposable absorbent article having a plurality of components, the method comprises: selecting a first material suitable for use as an outer coating； manufacturing a core member including an outer coating, the outer coating comprising a central region of the outer coating having a texture of a central region of the outer coating ； selecting a second material suitable for use as an elastic panel, wherein the second material is different from the first material； roduction first elastic panel having a central region of the first flexible panel； and attaching the first elastic panel to the main element, the selection being such that the central region of the first elastic panel provides an appearance identical in texture to the texture of the central region of the outer coating. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first material is inelastic. The method of claim 1, wherein the second material is breathable. The method of claim 1, wherein the second material is an elastic laminate. The method according to claim 4, wherein the elastic laminate has a fold density of more than 1.2 folds per linear mm. The method according to claim 4, wherein the elastic laminate has a fold density between 1.4 and 2.0 folds per linear mm. The method according to claim 4, in which the elastic laminate has an average distance between folds between 400 and 800 microns. The method of claim 4, wherein the elastic laminate has a crease height of less than 700 microns. The method of claim 4, wherein the elastic laminate has a crease height between 300 and 6001.
