PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system in which a burden of a user is small when an HMD is mounted.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of this technology, the endoscope system includes: an endoscope having an imaging element for imaging images for the right eye and the left eye of an affected part inside a body and an optical system； a processor unit connected electrically to the endoscope to have an image processing part for performing processing of endoscope images acquired by the endoscope； a head-mounted display having a display part connected electrically to the processor unit to be able to present the endoscope images before the eyes of the user and a body for supporting the display part and attached to the head of the user, and an elastic member having, when the endoscope system is attached, a second length longer than a first length when unattached to thereby generate elastic force having vertically upward component force； and a monitor connected electrically to the processor unit to be able to present the endoscope images even to other users other than the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
