The present invention addresses the problem of providing an oily makeup cosmetic that has a colorless external appearance but that develops color when applied to skin, lips, or another body surface. The present invention provides a colorless oily makeup cosmetic containing (a) one or more species selected from Red No. 218 and Red No. 223, and (b) an oil such that the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the light absorbance in the wavelength region of 500-600 nm of a mixture obtained by mixing component (a) in a mass ratio (a):(b) = 0.1:100 is no greater than 0.2.
