PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an adaptable range for various planting style which is different according to kinds of seedlings, the climate of a field and the like.SOLUTION: A transplanter 1 of the invention includes a machine body 5 configured to advance forward in the field, a planting support unit 6 configured to be movable in a left and right direction of the machine body 5 and to be fixed to a position in the left and right direction, and a planting unit 7 which is mounted on the planting support unit 6 and transplants seedlings P. The planting unit 7 is configured to be driven from the machine body side via a planting drive shaft 31 extended between the machine body side and the planting unit side. The planting support unit 6 includes a supporting seat 21 supported by the machine body 5, and lift supporting means 22 supporting the planting unit 7 in a liftable manner relative to the supporting seat 21.
