To provide a joint member with which supports are easily set up and also a crossbar member is set over between the supports to be held through a simple process so as to facilitate installation of a supporting tool and to provide an agricultural support utilizing the joint member.
SOLUTION: The joint member includes a combination of two joint pieces each having engaging/inserting hole which opens downward and into which the top end of a bar-like body to be fit in. The two joint pieces are connected with each other via connection parts turnably connected with each other. The top ends of the two joint pieces are each provided with holding parts ON which the crossbar member is placed to be held.
