The present invention relates to an elver catching device. The elver catching device is installed at the coast, at the riverside, at the outside of a seawall, or at a barrage to be easily transported and assembled. By using the instinct of elvers which smell and come to parent stream water in which parent eels are grown and the nature of elvers which creep up on a slope surface on which a small quantity of water flows at a slow flow speed, water of a parent stream is made to flow through a water supply device onto an ascending frame installed to be inclined, so elvers are induced. At the same time, the elvers are made to go up to the top of the ascending frame to be caught in multiple resting frames installed in the middle of the ascending frame. Then, the elvers are captured by a capturing frame installed at the bottom of the uppermost part of the ascending frame. The elver catching device is installed on a land while having an ascending frame and a water supply device, so safety is ensured and costs are not wasted.
