PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid stick preparation for oral cavity which has excellent moldability and usability in an oral cavity, dissolves in saliva while maintaining a stick shape in an applied area of the oral cavity, and can be smoothly coated and used.SOLUTION: There is provided a solid stick preparation for oral cavity in which average molecular weight of polyethyleneglycol contained in a composition as water-soluble base agent is 1,500 to 10,000, which contains polyethyleneglycol (A) having average molecular weight of 2,600 to 25,000 at 30 to 80 mass%, does not substantially contain water. Further, the solid stick preparation for oral cavity contains 10 to 50 mass% of polyethyleneglycol (B) having average molecular weight of 190 to 630, or furthermore contains oil soluble medicinal component (D).
