The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing persimmon chips and persimmon chips manufactured by the same. More specifically, the method for manufacturing persimmon chips comprises: a preparation step of preparing the flesh of persimmons by washing persimmons, removing stems, peel, and seeds, and grinding the persimmons a sugar adding step of mixing 1-15 parts by weight of sugar, which is at least one selected from sugar, oligosaccharide, starch syrup, and grain syrup, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the persimmon flesh ground in the preparation step a concentrating step of mixing a mixture, mixed in the sugar adding step, with water at a weight ratio of 1 : 0.5-1 and concentrating the same a drying step of spreading concentrated liquid of the concentrating step and then drying the concentrated liquid at a temperature of 60-90°C for 6-9 hours until the moisture content of the concentrated liquid becomes 15-25% and a processing step of cutting and processing the dried product of the persimmons, having been processed by the drying step, in the shapes of chips. In addition, provided are persimmon chips manufactured by the method for manufacturing persimmon chips. The persimmon chips are used in a product group of bread, confectionery, yogurt, beverages, energy bars, cereals, and so on. Since persimmons are processed into a chip-type food, a user can enjoy an original taste of the persimmon and can eat the persimmon chips in a convenient manner by adding the persimmon chips into bread, confectionery, yogurt, beverages, energy bars, cereals, and so on. The method for manufacturing persimmon chips has an effect of maintaining a safe hygienic state for a long period during a refrigerated distribution process or during a distribution process at room temperature.
