PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide processed food such as a rice processed product having good eating feeling with a lipid absorption inhibiting effect in diet, and chocolate confectionery using the same.SOLUTION: The processed rice having an swelling degree of 3 or less and the lipid absorption inhibiting effect is obtained by: heating and pressing brown rice of a double mutant rice (wx/ae rice) wherein both amylopectin branching enzyme II (BEIIb) and amylose synthetic enzyme I (GBSSI) are absence and then rapidly reducing pressure. The processed food is manufactured from fat containing food materials such as the processed rice and the chocolate.
