PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter ablation controlling apparatus which is capable of reliably preventing an esophagus from being damaged on a myocardium ablation therapy.SOLUTION: A catheter ablation controlling apparatus determines a temperature in the esophagus of a patient to decide whether the determined temperature exceeds a certain temperature or not. If the apparatus decides that it exceeds the certain temperature, the apparatus controls to lower the value of a high-frequency current flowing between the electrode of an electrode catheter 120 for cauterizing a myocardium and the counter electrode plate 140 applied on the body surface (the back surface). Thus the value of the high-frequency current flowing between the electrode of the electrode catheter 120 and the counter electrode plate 140 is automatically lowered if the temperature in the esophagus exceeds the certain temperature (namely, when the esophagus is likely to be supplied with an unnecessary damage), thereby preventing the temperature in the esophagus from being raised up to an exceedingly high degree on a catheter ablation therapy, resulting in reliably preventing the esophagus in no relation to the therapy from being damaged.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】心筋アブレーション治療に際して、食道への損傷を確実に防止する心筋焼灼制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】患者の食道の温度を測定し、その測定した温度が所定温度を超えたか否かについて判定する。所定温度を超えたと判定した場合、心筋の焼灼を行う電極カテーテル120の電極と体表面(背面)に貼付された対極板140との間に流れる高周波電流の値を下げるように制御する。これにより、食道の温度が所定温度を超えた場合(つまり、食道に不要な損傷を与えるおそれがある場合)、電極カテーテル120の電極と対極板140との間に流れる高周波電流の値が自動的に下げられ、心筋アブレーション治療に際して、食道の温度が過度に高くならないようにして、治療に関係ない食道への損傷を確実に防止することができる。【選択図】図1
