PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and an ultrasound probe capable of properly informing a user of the degree of deterioration of the mechanical probe.SOLUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus 1 is connectable with an ultrasound probe 2 comprising a piezoelectric transducer 201 and a drive unit 202 which mechanically drives the piezoelectric transducer 201.
