PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for promoting volatilization of transfluthrin capable of increasing the volatilization amount of transfluthrin at room temperature and exhibiting repellent effect against pests from the initial stage of use. At least one selected from the group consisting of pyrethroid compounds having a vapor pressure at 25° C. of 1.0×10 −3 Pa or more and 1.3×10 −2 Pa or less in a drug volatilization composition containing transfluthrin. The above problems were solved by blending one or more pyrethroid compounds.
