A method of manufacture of a selenium enriched dietary supplement comprising: (a) obtaining a quantity of a wheat grain (b) sprouting the quantity of wheat grain from step (a) on a selenium growth media (c) growing the sprouted quantity of wheat grain from step (b) in a selenium growth media and (d) producing a selenium-enriched liquid extract from the grown quantity of wheat grain cereal crop plant grain from step (c) (e) producing a liquid flavanol-enriched extract from at least one organic source of flavanols and (f) mixing the selenium-enriched liquid extract from step (d) and the liquid flavanol-enriched extract from step (e).
