A single use mask having an adhesive gasket is provided. The mask is of a two piece construction including a relatively hard attachment shell and a flexible gasket. The shell serves at the air chamber covering the mouth and nose of the patient as well as the point of attachment for the therapy tubing set. The flexible gasket and adhesive layer serves as the attachment means for affixing the mask to the patients face. In contrast to the masks of the prior art, the gasket is formed from a sheet of foam material.La présente invention concerne un masque à usage unique pourvu dun joint adhésif. Ledit masque est constitué de deux pièces incluant une coque de fixation relativement dure et un joint flexible. Ladite coque sert à recouvrir la bouche et le nez dun patient au niveau du réservoir dair, ainsi que le point de fixation pour lensemble tube de thérapie. Ledit joint flexible et la couche adhésive servent de moyens de fixation pour fixer le masque sur le visage du patient. Contrairement aux masques de létat de la technique, le joint est formé dune feuille de matériau de mousse.
