PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearable article which can suppress liquid from being leaked from a waistline area to the outside.SOLUTION: In the waistline area W, a cuff 8 is formed across a prescribed section P extending from a side edge 2b in the longitudinal direction of a lamination panel 2 to the center, by folding a hydrophobic sheet member 7, which forms a surface layer on the width directional side of the lamination panel 2, outward in the width direction of the lamination panel 2, joining it with the surface layer. In the prescribed section P, an elastic member 9 extending along the longitudinal direction of the lamination panel 2 is provided at the leading edge 8a of the cuff 8 in the width direction of the lamination panel 2 in such a manner that the sheet member 7 is wound to the bent inner side.
