PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve diffusibility of body fluid and retain a cushioning property in wearing.SOLUTION: A top sheet 3 of an absorbent article comprises a surface material layer 8 comprising at least a skin abutment surface layer and a second sheet layer 9 laminated on the surface material layer 8 at a side opposite to the skin abutment surface. There are alternately arranged: a first projection 10 which relatively projects on a skin side while forming a space part 11 between the surface material layer 8 and the second sheet layer 9, and is formed along a longitudinal direction of the absorbent article and a second projection 12 which projects on the skin side while the surface material layer 8 and the second sheet layer 9 are in contact with each other, and is formed along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article.
