PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-anchoring apparatus capable of being directly inserted into an incised part of tissue and capable of storing various surgical objects while retaining the integrity of ventilated working spaces.SOLUTION: The surgical anchoring apparatus includes a body member, a dilator element, and a seal. The body member defines a body path in the longitudinal axial direction extending along the longitudinal axis of the body member and adapted, and is adapted to transfer between a first initial state and a second expanding state. The dilator element is at least partially disposed within the path in the longitudinal axial direction, and is dimensioned to transfer the state of an expandable section to the second expanding state while the dilator element is inserted into the path in the longitudinal axial direction.
