PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rooftop planting container unit facilitating setting and detaching operations. SOLUTION: The rooftop planting container unit comprises a container main body the upper surface of which is open, and leg parts to which the bottom surface of the container main body is supportingly fixed so as to leave specified space under the bottom surface. The unit has the following structure: a recessed part for operations is formed at the side surface of the container main body; and insertion recessed parts for inserting the leg parts are formed near the recessed part for operations and also at the lower surface of the container main body. Thus, an adhesive can be poured into the container main body through the recessed part for operations to easily fix only the leg parts on a setting surface, and the container main body is easily detached from the setting surface by inserting the hands therein through the recessed part for operations and pulling out the container main body in an approximately vertical direction.
