PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device for a wheel chair to travel staircases capable of reducing a burden on a nurse and facility staff at the time of emergency evacuation on staircases with a wheel chair of a patient or the like in a hospital and a care facility.SOLUTION: A wheel chair auxiliary device has a structure suitable for a structure common to a general purpose wheel chair. By attaching the auxiliary device to the wheel chair, traveling staircases are easily made with the wheel chair. Specifically, a rectangular frame of high strength is utilized, and a plate including a support part and an L-like hook having a strength durable in use is provided to it. When suspended detachably on the L-like hook in the frame of the wheel chair, a frame on a front side of the rectangular frame is positioned on a front side of a foot rest of the wheel chair, and the plate receives the foot rest of the wheel chair from lower side, so that the wheel chair is supported from the foot rest side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】病院や介護施設で患者等が車椅子で階段を緊急避難する際の看護師や施設職員の負担を軽減することができるような、車椅子の階段移動用の補助装置を提供する。【解決手段】汎用の車椅子に共通の構造に適合した構造を有する車椅子補助装置であり、この補助装置を車椅子に取り付けることにより、該車椅子の階段移動を容易に行うことができる。具体的には、強度のある長方形状の枠フレームを利用し、そこに使用に耐える強度を有するL字型フックと支持部となるプレートを設け、車椅子のフレームにL字型フックに着脱可能に懸架させたときに長方形状の枠フレームの前側のフレームが車椅子のフットレストの前側に位置すると共にプレートが車椅子のフットレストを下側から受け止めることで、車椅子をフットレスト側から支持することができるようにした。【選択図】図4
