PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waist supporting device without becoming an obstacle in folding a wheelchair in the lateral direction.SOLUTION: The waist supporting device is attached to a backrest of the wheelchair which is foldable in the lateral direction. A waist supporting belt 11 laid between left and right side frames can be flipped up.
