The invention relates to the treatment and/or prevention of neuropathic symptoms associated with diabetes mellitus type II. In particular, the invention is directed to compositions, uses and combination packs or kits related to the treatment methods, wherein the compositions for use in the methods comprise at least one ubiquinol or ubiquinone compound of Formula (I) or Formula (II) or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof, and uridine or a salt, ester, tautomer or analogue thereof, in particular magnesium orotate, for the treatment and/or prevention of neuropathic symptoms associated with diabetes mellitus type II.Linvention concerne le traitement et/ou la prévention de symptômes neuropathiques associés au diabète sucré de type II.
