PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel composition for improving an intestinal environment.SOLUTION: A composition for improving an intestinal environment contains β-cryptoxanthin and increases an occupancy rate of Prevotella bacteria in intestinal flora. A content of β-cryptoxanthin in the composition is preferably 0.01-100 wt.%, more preferably 0.1-99 wt.%.
