PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-type disposable diaper for attaining both horizontal leak prevention and wearing facility.

SOLUTION: The pants-type disposable diaper includes an absorbent body 20 and an external coat 30. The absorbent core 23 of the absorbent body 20 includes a center absorbent body 23a and a pair of side absorbent bodies 23b. Separation parts are arranged between the center absorbent body 23a and the side absorbent bodies 23b. The absorbent body 20 includes leak prevention cuffs 40. The leak prevention cuffs 40 covers the rear surfaces of the side absorbent bodies 23b in the absorbent body 20 and also are extended from the side edges of the absorbent body 20 so as to be erected toward the front surfaces. Leg elastic members 34 are superimposed on the leak prevention cuffs 40 in a plane view, which are in a noncontact state. The absorbent core 23 includes a pair of notched parts on a back side part B, which are arranged inward in the width direction from the side edges. The notched parts and the separation parts are arranged to be superimposed in the width direction in a plane view in a state where the diaper is opened.
