PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of preventing the situation that information on the region of interest lacks from a projection moving images by a position of a reference cross section to the region of interest.SOLUTION: In the state that, of both areas obtained by dividing volume data at a specified or predetermined reference cross section, an area of a prescribed thickness in which the reference cross section is one end face in one area is reflected on the other area being an overlapping area, by performing rendering processing respectively, an image generation means generates projection moving images of both areas respectively.
