PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extract of Amygdalus persica L. having an active oxygen-eliminating ability of Amygdalus persica L., and to provide a production method thereof which is excellent in safety.SOLUTION: The invention provides an extract of Amygdalus persica L., which has an active oxygen-eliminating ability, obtained by extracting with ethanol or a mixture of ethanol/hexane Amygdalus persica L. raw material, which is a process residue of Amygdalus persica L. comprising thinned Amygdalus persica L. (young Amygdalus persica L.), mature Amygdalus persica L., or fiber components obtained by removing seeds and fruit juice from thinned or mature Amygdalus persica L., and by carrying out partition extraction of the obtained primary extraction liquid with hexane/water, the extract containing ceramide (sphingoglycolipid) and polyphenol； and a production method thereof. The extract of Amygdalus persica L. obtained by the invention is utilized as foods, cosmetics or quasi drugs, and their processed goods.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】 桃から得られる活性酸素消去能を有する桃抽出物、及び安全性に優れたその製造方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】 摘果桃（若桃）、成熟桃、又は摘果桃若しくは成熟桃から種子および果汁を取り除いた繊維成分を含む桃加工残渣である桃原料を、エタノール、又はエタノール／ヘキサン混液で抽出し、得られた一次抽出液をヘキサン／水で分配抽出することにより得られた、活性酸素消去能を有する桃抽出物であり、セラミド（スフィンゴ糖脂質）、ポリフェノールを含有する桃抽出物であり、また、その製造方法である。本発明で得られる桃抽出物は、食品、化粧品、或いは医薬部外品、及びそれらの加工品として利用される。【選択図】 なし
