PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is easily separated into a ventral part and a back side part without breaking a sheet member when removing the absorbent article, while preventing a junction part from coming off due to the motion of a wearer during wearing of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: Respective junction parts 14a, 14b of an absorbent article include a plurality of fusion parts 21Db, 21Ub along a longitudinal direction. Each of the fusion parts comprises: a core part BA in which sheet members of a ventral part 11 and a back side part 13 are fused in a thickness direction; and a peripheral wall part BW in which the sheet members of the ventral part and the back side part are fused in the thickness direction so as to cylindrically surround the core part. When a direction having a smaller difference of a width of the peripheral wall parts positioned at both outsides of the core part is defined as a first direction, and a direction having a larger difference thereof is defined as a second direction, in any of the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction, a first dimension P1 as a width of the peripheral wall part positioned at one side D2I in the second direction of the core part in the second direction is 40% or more and less than 100% of a second dimension P2 as a width of the peripheral wall part positioned at the other side D2II in the second direction of the core part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】吸収性物品の装着中に装着者の動きで接合部が外れることを防止しつつ、取り外し時にシート部材を破らずに腹側部と背側部とに分離し易くする。【解決手段】吸収性物品の接合部14a、14bの各々は、縦方向に沿う複数の融着部21Db、21Ubを備える。各融着部は、腹側部11及び背側部13のシート部材が厚さ方向に融着されたコア部BAと、コア部を筒状に囲むように、腹側部及び背側部のシート部材とが厚さ方向に融着された周壁部BWと、を含む。縦方向及び横方向のいずれかにおいて、コア部の両外側に位置する周壁部同士の幅の差が小さい方向を第1方向とし、大きい方向を第2方向としたとき、第2方向において、コア部の第2方向一方側D2Iに位置する周壁部の幅である第1寸法P1は、コア部の第2方向他方側D2IIに位置する周壁部の幅である第2寸法P2の40%以上、100%未満である。【選択図】図3
