A graphical user interface in at least one first user interface element displays on a display unit information related to at least one first collection container connected to a first suction channel, and in at least one second user interface element displays information related to at least one second collection container connected to a second suction channel. Also information regarding fluid collected from a patient to at least one of the collection containers may be displayed in a third user interface element.
