A mascara composition is provided to show excellent voluminous power and curling maintenance power by using a hollow resin powder, improve the emulsification stability and spreadability by using an oil thickening agent, and continuously maintain moisturizing property and coating property by using a liquid crystal base. The mascara composition comprises 1-20 wt.% of a liquid crystal base prepared from 1-30 wt.% of a surfactant, 1-20 wt.% of oil selected from the group consisting of triglyceride, aliphatic alcohol, hydrocarbon-based liquid paraffin and squalene and 1-20 wt.% of a polyol selected from the group consisting of glycerine, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, and polyethylene glycol, 0.1-10 wt.% of hollow resin powder selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, acrylic acid ester, methacrylic acid, methacrylic acid ester and acrylonitrile, an oily phase thickening agent, and 1-15 wt.% of a dextrin fatty acid ester.본 발명은 계면활성제, 오일 및 폴리올로부터 제조되는 액정베이스, 중공(中空) 수지 분체 및 유상 점증제로 덱스트린 지방산에스테르를 함유하는 수중유형 마스카라 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 마스카라 조성물은 비중이 적어 가벼운 사용감을 가지는 중공(中空) 타입의 분체를 사용하여 볼륨력과 컬링 유지력이 우수하고, 유상에 오일 점증제를 함유하여 유화안정도가 향상되며, 액정베이스를 함유하여 사용기간이 길어도 보습력이 우수하고 균일하게 발리는 도포성을 가지는 수중유형 마스카라 조성물로 컬링 유지력이 우수하면서 볼륨력이 우수한 마스카라 조성물에 관한 것이다.
