The present invention relates to compounds of the flavonoid type chosen from the following compounds of general formula (I) or (II) in which the radicals R3, R5, R6, R7, R8, R'2, R'3, R'4, R'5 and R'6 are independently selected from among the following atoms and radicals: H, OH, OCH3, monosaccharides； and chalcones and dihydrochalcones derived from compounds of general formula (I) or (II) for use in the treatment of a foot pathology of an ungulate mammal, in particular a horse. La présente invention concerne les composés du type flavonoïdes choisis parmi les composés de formule générale (I) ou (II) suivantes dans lesquelles les radicaux R3, R5, R6, R7, R8, R'2, R'3, R'4, R'5 et R'6 sont choisis indépendamment les uns des autres parmi les atomes et radicaux suivants : H, OH, OCH3, les oses； et les chalcones et dihydrochalcones provenant des composés de formule générale (I) ou (II) pour leur utilisation dans le traitement d'une pathologie du pied d'un mammifère ongulé, notamment d'un cheval.
