PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic instrument suitable for placement of a tubular member on the outer peripheral portion of a cornea in a device for placing a tubular member for conducting the inside and outside of the eyeball in a state of being stuck in the adventitia of the eyeball. An ophthalmic instrument 1 includes a main body 2 and a needle portion 6 connected to one end side of the main body 2. The main body 2 has a linear portion 3 extending linearly and a bent portion 4 extending in a direction different from the linear portion 3. The needle portion 6 is connected to the tip 5 of the bent portion 4 and has a shape that extends linearly in the same direction as the bent portion 4. When the tube member is attached to the eyeball, first, the needle portion 6 is passed through the tube member, and the needle portion 6 is used to make a hole in the outer peripheral portion of the cornea as the outer membrane of the eyeball, and at the same time, the tube member is attached to the cornea.
