PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage mechanism which is small in size, keeps the treatment position adjustable in the left-right direction, and carries out massage or the like on the right and left halves of a persons body individually.SOLUTION: The massage mechanism has a pair of inner and outer treating elements 61a and 61b arranged so as to correspond respectively to the right and left halves of the body of a person to be treated when the upper half of the body is divided into the right and left halves along the backbone, and also has a first motor 80 for driving the treating elements 61a and 61b.
