PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having gathers that inhibits gaps at a crotch part while hardly causing a wearer to feel discomfort.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: an absorbent main body comprising an absorbent core having a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction that intersect each other； and a pair of gathers which are disposed on both sides of the absorbent main body in the lateral direction, and which comprise elastic members extending and contracting in the longitudinal direction. The absorbent core comprises concave parts in which center parts in the longitudinal direction are curved inward in the lateral direction. Bond parts at which surfaces on one side of the gathers in the thickness direction are bonded to each other are provided in at least portions of regions of the gathers which correspond to the concave parts in the longitudinal direction.
