An agricultural machine (10) and attachment combination (18) has a wireless attachment connection for transmitting electronic information, commands, and electric power between the agricultural machine (10) and attachment (18). An agricultural machine side control system (102) having a wireless interface (150) is connected to the agricultural machine (10) and an attachment side control system (152) having a wireless interface is connected to the attachment (18). Each interface has at least one inductively coupled communication receiver (106) and at least one inductively coupled communication transmitter (108). The transmitters (108) and receivers (106) cooperate to transmit electronic information and commands between the agricultural machine side control system(102) and the attachment side control system (152). A primary coil (118) is connected to the agricultural machine (10) for transmitting power to the attachment (18). A secondary coil (168) is connected to the attachment (18) for receiving power from the agricultural machine (10). The primary coil (118) and the secondary coil (168) cooperate to transmit power from the agricultural machine (10) to the attachment (18) using inductance.
