PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for readily producing granules for dentifrice which have an excellent wet collapse strength even after preservation, and are excellent in preservation stability and suitable for dentifrice, and to provide the granules for dentifrice obtained by the production method.SOLUTION: The invention provides [1] a method for producing granules for dentifrice having a step 1 of throwing a water-insoluble powder material (A) into a rotary drum granulator to rotate it, and supplying as droplets an aqueous solution of one or more kinds of silicates (B) selected from sodium silicate and potassium silicate into the water-insoluble powder material (A) to granulate, and a step 2 of contacting the granules obtained in the step 1 with a gas containing 0.1 volumes % or more of carbonic acid gas, as well as [2] the granules for dentifrice obtained by the method.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
