PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing granules for dentifrices by which the granules for dentifrices having a moderate collapse strength and an excellent wet collapse strength are obtained with a good yield, and to provide dentifrices obtained by the method.SOLUTION: The present invention provides [1] a method for producing granules for dentifrices comprising mixing one or more kinds of water-insoluble powder materials (A) selected from precipitated calcium carbonate, heavy calcium carbonate, zeolite, silica, magnesium carbonate, and titanium oxide with hydraulic powders (B) using a rotating drum granulator, and supplying water as droplets using a spraying nozzle to granulate, and [2] granules for dentifrices obtained by the method.
