Methods and apparatus for positioning a structure on a polymer layer are described. A method may involve forming a first polymer layer. The method may further involve positioning, by an apparatus, a structure on the first polymer layer, where the apparatus comprises a rod having a first end that supports the structure as the structure is being positioned and a plunger located around the first end of the rod that presses the structure onto the first polymer layer as the structure is being positioned. And the method may involve forming a second polymer layer over the first polymer layer and the structure, where the first polymer layer defines a first side of a body-mountable device and the second polymer layer defines a second side of the body- mountable device opposite the first side.Linvention concerne des procédés et un appareil de positionnement dune structure sur une couche polymère. Un procédé peut consister à former une première couche polymère. Le procédé peut consister également à positionner, à laide dun appareil, une structure sur la première couche polymère, lappareil comprenant une tige pourvue dune première extrémité qui soutient la structure au moment où la structurée est positionnée, et un plongeur placé autour de la première extrémité de la tige qui comprime la structure sur la première couche polymère au moment où la structure est positionnée. Le procédé peut consister également à former une seconde couche polymère sur la première couche polymère et la structure, la première couche polymère formant un premier côté dun dispositif se plaçant sur le corps et la seconde couche polymère formant un second côté, opposé au premier, du dispositif se plaçant sur le corps.
