The present invention relates to a composition including a Laurus nobilis leaf extract as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a composition for preventing or treating a hangover including a Laurus nobilis leaf extract, a product composition for treating or improving a hangover including a Laurus nobilis leaf extract, and a method for preparing the composition. According to the present invention, the composition including a Laurus nobilis leaf extract can remarkably lower blood alcohol concentration and acetaldehyde concentration. Such effects of preventing and treating a hangover are also verified by behavior tests.
