PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nutrient solution cultivation system capable of supplying a nutrient solution to a cultivation bed at the time of power failure or pump malfunction. SOLUTION: In a steady state, the nutrient solution in a nutrient solution tank 3 is quantitatively supplied to a cultivation bed 2 via a pump 4 and pipes 5 and 6. Further, a part of the nutrient solution in the nutrient solution tank 3 is supplied to the spare tank 12 and is supplied to the cultivation bed 2 via the pipe 13. At the time of power failure or malfunction of the pump 4, the solenoid valve 19 is opened, and the nutrient solution is supplied from the preliminary tank 12 to the cultivation bed 2 through the pipe 14. In addition, by closing the solenoid valve 17, the nutrient solution outflow from the cultivation bed 2 is stopped.
