PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a sheet-fused body, in which when the width direction of an object to be conveyed is irradiated with a laser beam, an energy loss of the laser beam can be reduced.SOLUTION: An apparatus 20 for producing the sheet-fused body includes: an irradiation head 35 having a lens 351； a supporting member 21 for conveying a belt-like sheet laminate 10； and pressing member 24 for keeping the sheet laminate 10 in a pressurized state. The supporting member 21 has a slit-shaped opening 27 through which the laser beam 30 can pass. A taper 211, the mutual distance of which is made wider on the side of the irradiation head 35 than that of which on the side of the pressing member 24, is arranged on both ends 21e of the supporting member 21 for forming the opening 27. In the apparatus 20 for producing the sheet-fused body, the sheet laminate 10 of the pressurized state is irradiated with the laser beam 30 along the opening 27, the sheet laminate thus irradiated is divided and the edge of the divided sheet laminate is fused in an overlapped state to produce the sheet-fused body 3 having the sealed edge 4.【課題】搬送されている対象物の幅方向にレーザー光を照射する際に、レーザー光のエネルギーロスを抑えて照射することができるシート融着体の製造装置を提供すること。【解決手段】シート融着体の製造装置２０は、レンズ３５１を有する照射ヘッド３５と、帯状のシート積層体１０を搬送する支持部材２１と、シート積層体１０を加圧状態にする押さえ部材２４とを具備する。支持部材２１は、レーザー光３０が通過可能なスリット状の開口部２７を有する。断面視して、開口部２７を形成する支持部材２１の両端部２１ｅには、互いの間隔が押さえ部材２４側よりも照射ヘッド３５側の方が広がるテーパー２１１がある。製造装置２０は、加圧状態のシート積層体１０に、レーザー光３０を開口部２７に沿って照射して分断すると共に、この分断の縁部を重なった状態で融着し、シール縁部４を有するシート融着体３を連続的に製造する。【選択図】図４
