The present invention relates to an agricultural square baler which increases work efficiency, and safely and conveniently performs a work without the necessity of additional equipment by not cutting hay, which is longer than the width of a pickup unit, in advance but by directly picking up the hay and making the hay into a square-shaped bunch. The square baler of the present invention includes: a towing unit which has a power transfer unit to be towed by being connected to an agricultural machine in the front of a frame； the pickup unit which is installed in one side of the front of the frame not to be in contact with the ground surface and picking up the hay； a transfer unit which is installed in the back of the pickup unit, and cutting and transferring the hay to a bale chamber； and a plunger which is installed in the back of the bale chamber to compress the hay into a square shape. An out plate, which is located in the outside of the pickup unit, is formed to be a size not to expose a cam track, which is combined to both sides of a driving axis and radially arranged, and to which a finger shaft having a plurality of pickup fingers, is installed. An entry hole which is cut so that the picked hay is not disturbed by the pickup unit is located in the outer wall of the transfer unit.본 발명은 픽업부의 폭보다 긴 길이의 건초를 미리 절단하지 않고 바로 픽업하여 사각형상의 더미로 만들 수 있도록 함으로서 작업의 효율성을 높이면서 부수적인 장비를 필요로 하지 않고 안전하고 편리하게 작업을 수행할 수 있도록 한 것으로서,프레임의 전방에 농기계와 연결하여 견인되도록 동력전달부를 가지는 견인부와, 상기 프레임의 전방 일측에 지면과 접촉되지 않게 건초를 걷어올리도록 설치되는 픽업부와, 상기 픽업부의 후방에 설치되어 걷어 올려진 건초를 절단하여 베일챔버로 이송하는 이송부와, 상기 베일챔버의 후방에 건초를 사각형상으로 압축하도록 설치하는 플런저로 구성되는 농업용 사각 베일러에 있어서；상기 픽업부의 외측에 위치하는 아웃플레이트를, 구동축의 양측에 결합되어 방사상으로 배열되고 다수개의 픽업핑거를 가지는 핑거샤프트가 장착되는 캠트랙이 노출되지 않을 정도의 크기로 만들고, 상기 이송부의 외측벽에 픽업부에 의하여 픽업된 건초가 걸림되지 않도록 절개한 진입홀을 형성하여 구성하는 것이 특징이다.
