The present invention relates to a square baler which is formed in a different structure from existing plunger-type square balers so that productivity is excellent and dry grass in a bale chamber can be effectively compressed and baled. The square baler comprises: a frame； a bale chamber formed to be forwardly and backwardly opened on the frame and having a square-shaped cross section； a knotting unit including a knotting member equipped at the rear top of the bale chamber to knot and cut a bale thread and a needle member equipped at the rear bottom of the bale chamber to perform an upward and downward angular movement so that the bale thread is guided to the knotting member； a picking up unit for picking up and supplying dry grass into the front internal space of the bale chamber； and a rake unit installed to be rotated on the front top of the bale chamber, picked up into the internal space of the bale chamber when rotated and downwardly moved, and pushing and compressing the supplied dry grass to the rear side where the bale thread between the knotting member and the needle member is disposed.본 발명은 사각 베일러에 관한 것으로서, 종래의 플런저 방식의 사각 베일러와 다른 구조로 이루어져 있어 생산성이 우수하고, 베일챔버 내에 건초를 효과적으로 압축 및 곤포할 수 있는 사각 베일러에 관한 것으로서, 프레임과； 상기 프레임 상에 전후로 개방되도록 형성되고 단면이 사각형으로 이루어지는 베일챔버와； 상기 베일챔버의 후측 상부에 구비되어 곤포실을 매듭 및 절단하는 매듭부재와, 상기 베일챔버의 후측 하부에 상하 각운동하도록 구비되어 곤포실을 상기 매듭부재로 안내하는 니들부재로 이루어진 매듭부와； 상기 베일챔버의 전측 내부공간으로 건초를 픽업하여 공급하는 픽업부와； 상기 베일챔버의 전측 상부에 회전되도록 설치되고, 회전 하강시 상기 베일챔버 내부공간으로 픽업되어 공급된 건초를 상기 매듭부재와 상기 니들부재 사이의 곤포실이 위치한 후측으로 밀어 압축하는 레이크부；를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징을 한다.
