PURPOSE: A hand dryer is provided to filter bacteria through a fine filter and to sterilize the filtered bacteria using ultraviolet rays.CONSTITUTION: A hand dryer includes a case, an air blowing unit (300), an intake and exhaust unit, a fine filter, a sensor (610), a power supply unit (800), an ultraviolet ray radiation unit (900), and a control unit (700). The case accommodates and protects each part. The air blowing unit generates dry air. The intake and exhaust unit comprises an inlet for inhaling air and an outlet for discharging air. The fine filter is arranged on the rear of the inlet and filters bacteria or foreign materials. The sensor senses a hand without contacting the hand. The power supply unit supplies power to each part. The ultraviolet ray radiation unit sterilizes filtered bacteria.
