PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container of a rice cooker for a microwave oven which is capable of achieving excellent heat insulation performance, and restricting temperature rise at outer walls of a container body due to temperature rise of rice as the content while cooking, so that the container body can be directly held by hand to be taken out of the microwave oven.SOLUTION: The container body 1 is formed of a heat insulation synthetic resin having a high foaming rate of over 6-time foaming, such as polypropylene.
