PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent calibration from deteriorating in a phantom used for calibration of a subject information acquisition device.SOLUTION: A phantom used for calibrating a subject information acquisition device for acquiring characteristic information on the inside of the subject based on an acoustic wave propagated from the subject includes a base material, an absorber disposed inside the base material, and an identification tag for holding the information unique to the phantom.
