The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing a fall. The apparatus for preventing a fall according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an acceleration measurement part (1) which is arranged on the waist of a wearer (1) and measures acceleration； an angular speed measurement part (20) which is arranged on the waist and measures an angular speed； distance measurement parts (30) which are arranged on the feet (5) of the wearer (1) and measure the distance from the feet (5) to an obstacle (7) ahead； feet height measurement parts (40) which are arranged on the feet and measure the height from the bottom stepped by the wearer (1) to the feet (5)； pressure measurement parts (50) which are arranged on the soles of the wearer (1) and measure a pressure when the wearer (1) steps on the bottom； a control part (60) which predicts the possibility of a fall by comparing, to a preset reference value, data values obtained from the acceleration, the angular speed, the distance from the obstacle (7), the measured height and the measured pressure； and a stimulation signal part which applies a stimulation signal to the wearer (1) when there is the possibility of a fall.본 발명은 낙상 방지장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 낙상 방지장치는 착용자(1)의 허리에 배치되고, 가속도를 측정하는 가속도 측정부(10), 허리에 배치되고, 각속도를 측정하는 각속도 측정부(20), 착용자(1)의 발(5)에 배치되고, 발(5)에서부터 전방에 있는 장애물(7)까지의 거리를 측정하는 거리 측정부(30), 발(5)에 배치되고, 착용자(1)가 밟고 있는 바닥면에서부터 발(5)까지의 발높이를 측정하는 발높이 측정부(40), 착용자(1)의 발바닥에 배치되고, 착용자(1)가 바닥면을 밟을 때의 압력을 측정하는 압력 측정부(50), 가속도, 각속도, 장애물(7)까지의 거리, 발높이 및 압력으로부터 얻어진 데이터 값과 미리 설정된 기준치를 비교하여, 낙상 가능성을 예측하는 제어부(60), 및 낙상 가능성이 있는 경우에 착용자(1)에게 자극신호를 인가하는 자극 신호부(70)를 포함한다.
