PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet printing device and a tablet printing method which can prevent the tablets to which a foreign body has adhered from being mixed in performing printing processing on tablets.SOLUTION: A first secant camera 51 detects a foreign body adhering to one faces of a plurality of tablets 2 conveyed by a conveying drum 10. When the tablets 2 are passed from the conveying drum 10 to a first conveying belt 20, all of the tablets 2 are reversed. A second secant camera 52 detects a foreign body adhering to the other faces of the plurality of tablets 2 conveyed by the first conveying belt 20.
