PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe assembling apparatus capable of surely screwing a plunger rod into to the last when screwing the plunger rod into a gasket in a barrel.SOLUTION: A barrel support device 22 rotatably supports the barrel 101, with the axis of the barrel set vertically and an opening where the plunger rod 106 is inserted so as to be directed upward. A chuck 29 of a plunger rod support device 26 clamps the plunger rod 106 in a first clamping attitude for stopping both of rotation of the plunger rod about the axis and its sliding in the axial direction to insert it in the barrel 101, and after that, changes into a second clamping attitude for stopping the rotation about the axis of the plunger rod but non-stopping the sliding in the axial direction. Where an axial downward load is applied to the plunger rod 106 by the mass of a load application device 35, a rotation application device 60 applies to the barrel 101, the rotation in the direction of screwing the gasket 104 and the plunger 106.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】バレルの中のガスケットにプランジャロッドをねじ込むに際し、ねじ込みを最後まで確実に遂行することができるシリンジ組立装置を提供する。【解決手段】バレル支持装置22は、バレル101を、軸線を垂直にし、且つプランジャロッド106が挿入される開口部を上に向けた状態で回転可能に支持する。プランジャロッド支持装置26のチャック29は、プランジャロッド106を、当該プランジャロッドの軸線まわり回転と軸線方向の滑りの両方を止める第1挟み付け態勢で挟んでバレル101に挿入した後、当該プランジャロッドの軸線回り回転は止めるが軸線方向の滑りは止めない第2挟み付け態勢に転ずる。荷重付与装置35の質量でプランジャロッド106に軸線方向下向きの荷重をかけておいて、回転付与装置60により、ガスケット104とプランジャロッド106のねじ込みが行われる方向の回転をバレル101に与える。【選択図】図2
