The present invention relates to a deodorizing apparatus for preventing odor generation by removing harmful materials by a photo-oxidation with photocatalyst and ultraviolet rays. The deodorizing apparatus comprises: housing (10)； a tube (22) coated with the photocatalyst； and a reactor (21) having a UV lamp (23) in the longitudinal direction of the tube. A purification part (2) has multiple reactors in every direction. The discharging air passing through the housing is distributed to the reactors and discharged, which maximizes the photo-oxidation of harmful matters by generating turbulent flows and securing enough reacting time and regular intervals between the photocatalyst and UV rays.본 발명은 하수처리장이나 그 밖에 각종 악취 발생 시설에서 외부로 배출되는 배출 공기의 유해 물질, 특히 악취를 발생하는 유해 물질을 광촉매와 자외선에 의한 광산화 반응으로 분해 제거하여 배출공기의 악취 발생을 방지하는 악취 정화장치에 관한 것으로서, 좀더 상세하게는 하우징(10) 내부에 광촉매가 코팅된 장방형 튜브(22)의 내부 길이 방향으로 자외선 램프(23)를 설치한 반응기(21)를 상하좌우로 다수 배열한 정화부(20)를 설치하여 상기 하우징을 통과하는 배출 공기가 다수의 반응기로 분배되어 배출되면서 광촉매와 자외선의 일정한 간격, 충분한 반응 시간 확보 및 배출 공기의 와류 발생에 의해 유해 물질, 특히 악취를 발생하는 유해 물질의 광산화 반응을 극대화하여 악취 발생을 효과적으로 방지하는데 그 특징이 있다.
